| Description | Local context of land use changes is demonstrated at model locality which could be delimitated as buffer zone (radius 500 m) around regional biocenter called "Černovický hájek" (southern Greater Brno area. Main research is based on analyses of historical maps land use utilization in Černovický hájek region at eight main time segments. Changes in land use are quantified by qualitative (change type) and quantitative ( number of changes ) methods. Overlay and map algebra gives the possibility to show changes in the land use polygons(if data are well homogenized. GIS analyses are extended by terrain mapping. |
