Description | This article deals with modeling hacktivism. The methodological approach—system dynamics—is described. Concept of hacktivism is analyzed in relation to various dimensions of the use of this term. The model of hacktivism is explained. The core of this model is formed by an adapted risk equation and then expanded upon using causal feedback loops. The authors come to conclusion that system dynamics model is useful in the field of cybersecurity research, however, further work on this scientific approach is necessary. |
