| Description | *Under the contract, contract research were to UJEP Ústí nad Labem newly developed instrumental techniques that allow for the contracting authority to carry out analysis of products (metabolites, transform) resulting from the use of new techniques for removing drugs from contaminated surfaces. The research was focused on the main anticancer drugs, which are used in large quantities and contaminate the work environment and to (having regard to its mechanism of action), genotoxic and carcinogenic effects - cyclophosphamide and doxorubicin. These substances pose a risk to health care workers and studied are new options for efficient removal from surfaces using nanotechnology. New analytical and identification techniques that have been developed for this project contract research in our laboratory include combinations of SPE and LC mass spectrometry (combination of quadrupole and TOF-MSMS). The results showed the formation of oxidation products and high molecular weight conjugates. |
