| Description | In the article, we discuss inpatient psychosocial psychosis treatment, which is currently ongoing at Department of Psychiatry, The University Hospital Brno. We describe group psychotherapeutical activities, in which are patients during their treatment systematicaly gradually engaged. The focus, goals and risks of this therapeutical model are described. We summarize our experience and findings of inpatient psychosocial (community) intervention with elements of group psychotherapy in the environment of acute psychiatry department. Our cooperation with NGOs and voluntary associations helps to bridge the gap in between health and social care. |
