| Description | The text is focused on gender socialization and gender legal socialization, which shows the differentiation of legal awareness related to gender. Further are presented models of the interaction between culture and law, especially the concepts of Emile Durkheim and Pitirima Sorokina. The chapter is concluded with the issue of trust in the law and legal institutions and is completed with current empirical researches of this topic, illustrating increasing distrust in law, justice and the possibility of individuals to regain their rights. |
