Description | Non-profit institutions (NPI) are generally characterized by multi-source funding. This analysis summarizes the initial results of a three-year systematic project mapping the scope and structure of all Czech NPI resources. The aim of the paper is to identify and confront the perception of the importance of public funding for particular NPI with the actual data on the funding of such institutions. Our research have showed that Czech NPI consider public funding to be the most important funding source, with the exception of those NPI with donation from business as dominant source. Public funding as most important funding source is true even for NPI that receive less than half of their total revenues from public funding. |
