Description | The conference contribution aimed to reveal, whether the Russian Eastern Energy Policy (EEP) corresponds to widely shared perception of Russia as a resource nationalist regime and to assess the role of Gazprom in the overall governmental strategy. The features of a theoretical energy policy model grounded in the premises of realism were searched in the Russian EEP in general and the case of Sino-Russian gas supplies negotiations in particular to assess both the character of the Russian EEP and the behavioral characteristic of Gazprom as a state-owned company and future energy player in the region. The consequences of the Sino-Russian gas supplies negotiations were analyzed as well. |
