Description | One of the factors that influence quality of education are teacher shortages and increasing drop-out rate. Research has paid attention to drop-out since the late 1950s particularly in Great Britain and the United States, in the last decades it has become a global issue (Cooper & Alvarado, 2006). The most endangered professional group are beginning teachers (Ingersoll, 2003). The presentation offers a review of empirical studies into drop-out of novice teachers |
