| Description | The Cystic form cells of Borrelia burgdorferi sensu lato is examined for several years. It is important, above all in terms of diagnosis and treatment of Lyme disease. Allows the cells to survive in adverse conditions, both during cultivation, as well as in the body, for example, in the course of antibiotic treatment to the patient. The aim of the experiments was to determine the ability of cystic forms of different genospecies Borrelia afzelii and to retain back to the viabile spiral forms not only in vitro, in vivo, but also for the by cysts treated laboratory specimens of Mus musculus (BALB/c). |
