| Description | Several smaller series can be distinguished in a collection of Brno stove tiles, on the basis of the relief decoration of the front (heating) sections. These series are dominated by two in particular: the larger one with the Adoration subject, the smaller with tournament scenes. Both have direct analogies in finds from archaeological excavations in this country and outside its borders. Petroarchaeological analyses of samples from the two Brno series are aimed at the specification of the products’ provenance that should help elucidate their origin. |
