| Description | The paper deals with the curricular documents of physical education. As a hotly debated issue in our context we perceive the lack of harmony between the projected goals of physical education and curriculum content defined in the Framework Education Programs and low congruence between different forms of czech physical education curriculum. We present partial results of analysis of the Irish projected physical education curriculum for primary education. The results of the analysis are followed by a comparison of selected aspects related to the review of curricula in the Czech Republic and Ireland in particular with regard to the problem of congruence of physical education curriculum outlined above. |
