| Description | This text is intended especially for students enrolled M4130 "Mathematical Computing Systems" and is focused on familiarization with the software systems MATLAB and R. The only basic knowledge of linear algebra, computers and programming are required. The text is divided into two parts: "How to work with MATLAB" and "Education of R Language". The aim of the first part of the text is to make students familiar with the MATLAB syntax, matrix as the basic building block of the environment and matrix thinking, the end deals with graphical presentation of data and programming. The text is supplemented by a number of demonstration examples as well as examples for individual work. The second part of the text introduces students to the syntax of R language, its data structures, graphical functions and the basics of programming. The text is supplemented by the amount of examples as well as examples designed for standalone solution. |
