| Description | This lecture deals with the process of identification of a person in the Austrian Empire within the period of 100 years: i.e. between 1750 and 1850. In the beginning of this process is the so far unidentified mass of vassals. In the end of the outlined development is the already fully established state administration and emergent population census, which provides detail information on every individual and its attachment within local, social, and professional structures. |
