Description | The aim of our research was to find out if sufficient physical activity could be a positive factor that increases the level of coordination abilities of adult population. One of the fundamental - balance ties were selected out of the spectrum of coordination abilities. The study was to focused on adult population in the Czech Republic older than 30 years. The research was split into two parts. First part, in which quantitative data about physical activity and mobility habits by means of questionnaire inquiring was collected; data from 1171 respondents (490 men, 681 women; av. age 47.6 years). The second part of the research was focused on balance abilities testing. Finally163 participants took part in 3 motor tests (58 men, 107 women; av. age 44.3 years). Measured and computed results indicate significant differences between respondents with sufficient and insufficient physical activity in majority of tests. Differences were found both within the male and female groups. The only test without significant difference was the static balance test with closed eyes measured in men's group. |
