| Description | The goal of the project is estimation of the demand for transportation capacity on selected direct routes conditional on predictors supplied by the project sponsor. (The predictors are undisclosed on the sponsor’s request.) The project supplies the sponsor with 1) a methodology for the demand estimation and prediction given supplied data and 2) implementation of the methodology in software R. The econometric model estimation shows that all supplied predictors are statistically significant. Practical applicability of the model requires improvement in quality of the data provided by the sponsor. |
