Citation
Description Politics is an inseparable part of modern society and to a various extent it is involved in all areas of human activities. Literature or language is no exception. The focus of the presented book the authors of which are mainly postgraduate students of the Department of Slavonic Studies at the Faculty of Arts of Masaryk who present here the results of their research is based on this very fact. The book contains ten chapters where interaction between politics, literature and language in Slavonic environment is mapped in the form of probes. The aim of the book is not to bring the comprehensive history of Slavonic literatures in the 20th century or to show the complex language situation; on the contrary, the way politics is reflected in literature or language is presented on selected specific examples.
