Description | The duality of the relationship between female activism and prevention of violence operates in a very specific way in post-Soviet space, especially in countries with long-term quasi- authoritarian regimes. In 2012 all opposition parties in Belarus signed a petition about gender equality – a very formal document reproducing the classical approach to human rights. Could female activists undo this complexity? |
