Description | Examples of Stir Bar Sorptlve Extraction (SBSE) applications are given for sampling and analysis of contaminants that are regulated by the EU Water Framework Directive and emerging aquatic contaminants. A versatile applicability of SBSE as a screening tool for organic contaminants In surface waters, as In situ passive sampler In water and as a sample preparation technique in extraction and analysis of organic compounds In sediments, are shown. The stability of ana/ytes sorbed by SBSE Is also addressed. |
