| Description | Europe in motion? Nation, state, and intercultural dialogue The migration wave of 2015 aggravated the crisis of international organisations as well as national states. Nationalism, atomisation of the society, replacing democracy by police state, policy of fear, suppression of human rights, crisis of identity - all of these are accompanying the changes in civic and political society. Governing elites are not able to make strategix decisions. Tibi demonstrates on the example of integration processes in Germany that successful integration is possible only in case of organized migration, followed by common looking for consensus based on European values as democracy, tolerance, individual human rights, civic society and religional pluralism. |
