Description The research was aimed at mapping of leisure time activities, positives and risks relating to modern information and communication technologies. There had been compiled an anonymous questionnaire consisting of 20 items for 150 pupils attending two deliberately selected primary schools located in the North Moravian region. A half of respondent children regularly spend their free time at the computer, a third of children on social networks. Even though there is the apparent desire of the respondents to stay outside, a third of them do sports only in Physical Education lessons in school. Three quarters of respondents have the Internet access at home, 90% of children are not limited by potentially harmful content. Hardly a half of parents control the web pages visited by their children, thus, the matter of cybersecurity has been greatly underestimated.
