| Description | The international conference Key to Czech as a Foreign Language was organized as one of the results of a tree-year-project CZKey – Online Platform for Learning Medical Czech. The conference introduced the major outcome of the project, the Mluvtecesky.net web which, besides teaching general Czech, supports also teaching Czech for specific medical purposes. Specialists in teaching Czech as a foreign language had the opportunity to meet As. Prof. Karel Oliva, the director of The Institute of the Czech Language of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, who was one of the key-note speakers at the conference, as well as to join practical workshops or share ideas in the individual conference sections: Methodology of testing and innovations, Czech for Vocational Purposes and Czech from the other side. The conference was attended by 98 participants from five Central European countries. |
