| Description | The article presented here provides evidence that Zipf ’s First Law applies for syllables in Modern Greek and introduces the usage of the Hamming distance to describe the dependence between syllables’ contrast and their relative frequency within a text. A custom corpus was used as the source of linguistic data. |
