| Description | Constructed device utilizing flat sheet membrane can be used for solutes concentration in water sample at pressure up to 12 bars. Suitable membranes are from simple paper to the densest reverse osmosis membranes. Functionality of the concentration process in this device was confirmed using reverse osmosis membrane Dow Filmtec BW30LE, where the conductivity of feed sample and the concentrate were assessed, and the permeate and concentrate flow rates or pressure in the system were evaluated. |
