| Description | Specialized map settlement system based on the development of growth or decline in the population in settlements on both sides of the border in the period 1970-2011. Infrastructure is represented by displaying border crossings, with their load of freight and passenger traffic on separate analytical map. To illustrate the growth of settlements types was used data from a population census in 1970, 1980, 1991, 2001 and 2011, growth was detected in four stages mezicenzovních. The model Euroregions are a set of all municipalities differentiated into five types: continuous growth, accelerating growth, stagnation, decline accelerating, steady decline. The method described to us quite aptly in a simplified form captures the development of settlements in the longer term, while in post-socialist countries, this period is divided approximately into two pairs of stages in different political systems. The maps were created for each model Euroregion (Labe, Praděd, Silva Nortica, Šumava and Bílé Karpaty). |
