Description | Late Neolithic circular enclosures count among prehistoric structures, which left distinct traces in the landscape. The best method of how to identify the characteristics of Late Neolithic circular enclosures seems to be geophysical survey, above all magnetometer measurements. This also was the case with three roundels presented on the paper. These circular enclosures are located in Bíňovce (Slovakia), Milovice and Nové Bránice (Moravia, Czech Republic). The paper presented summarises the results of terrain measurements which helped to reveal not only the layout of individual roundels but also other contexts unique to Slovak and Moravian environment. |
