| Description | Most of definitions of science are based on reproducibility and verifiability of the research. Replicability, the basic premise of psychology as it was introduced since the late 19th century in Wundt’s laboratories, is under serious critics during the last months. Moreover, it is not the first time in history, statistician and psychologist Jacob Cohen warned researchers already in sixties. However, the current global critical movement raised the critics more than the former attempt. This situation reached so far that the term “replication crisis” is in the common usage. |
