Description | Any psychometrically validated test for identifying mathematical talent has been missing in the Czech Republic. This was the reason to develop Test for Identifying Gifted Students in Mathematics (TIM), which is designated to measure math ability of 3rd to 5th grade scholars in the above-average range. After the short theoretical introduction, we speak about the complex research behind the TIM development, the process of its validation and the possibilities of its using in the educational practice. |
