Description | New technologies have been constantly entering into the geography teaching. It is necessary to use these technologies during the education process so that the current geography does not lose contact with students who use these technologies in their daily lives. This places high demands not only on technology but also on the knowledge and skills of teachers to use these technologies in teaching. As shown in some studies, the smart cell phone or tablet with appropriate applications is very powerful teaching tool and should be included in education at all school levels. The article aims to introduce the possibility of using a tablet or smart cell phone in the teaching of geography, particularly in the field work according to Danish concept BOYD (Bring Your Own Device).
