Description | The present study brings to the professional discourse view of the development of professional vision as one of the important dimensions of professionalism kindergarten teachers. Its aim is to describe the nature of the professional vision of student teachers for nursery schools and the changes that occurred after the systematic reflection of videos of real education in kindergarten. Research respondents became 18 students in the field of study Kindergarten Facultyof Education of Masaryk University. Data were collected at the beginning of the semester in which intensive work with videotape, and in the following semester. Written comments of students were analyzed using two categorical systems. First captured the focus of their attention, another way of thinking about vision. Differences in the focus of attention and representation of intellectual operations between the two measurements was verified by chi-square test of independence. The results suggest that students' attention is focused on teachers and that their comments prevails description. After systematic work with analyzes video has been qualitative changes in the sub-processes of reasoning based on knowledge. Quantitative changes included in the length of comments, but the number of sub-categories represented the focus of attention. The results indicate a positive shift in professional vision students and their way of thinking about educational reality. |
