Description The article focuses on issue of personal jurisdiction before the International Criminal Court. Relevance of personal immunities is introduced on the case of sitting president of Sudan - Omar Al-Bashir. Author criticizes current practice of the International Criminal Court and claims that this institution lacks jurisdiction over Al-Bashir. Present analysis is important even for the Czech Republic, state party to the Rome Statute, which has obligation to cooperate with the International Criminal Court. This obligation arises both from international law (Articles 86-102 of the Rome Statute) and domestic law (paragraphs 145-184 of Law 104/2013 Coll., on international judicial cooperation in criminal matters).
