Description | The presentation deals with the development of professional competences with the aim to find out the level of reflective skills in the students of the programme Teaching for kindergartens in the life-long study programme and in the combined study programme. It points out the specificities of university preparation of kindergarten teachers, which are based on the reflective model of university education. The theoretical background based on several relevant models of reflection (Farell, 2002; Korthagen et al., 2011; etc.) is illustrated by the results of the conducted research, which confirmed the justification of the requirements regarding the support of reflection in education. Penetrating the complexity of educational phenomena, orientate in them and keep finding efficient solutions can be done by the teacher only in the case that his/her level of reflection reaches the critical level. |
