Description | Life values determine the relationship of a man towards sport and achievement in sport. The approach towards achievement sets goals people pursue in physical movement and sport; be it personal happiness springing from the movement itself or be it reaching valuable achievement or victory. As sport activities bear expenses concerning at the most money and time, only a certain type of people remain active in sports. This article relates the types of sport organizations, their set goals and the levels on which people intend to perform. All these aspects determine the understanding of achievement as such. The achievement in sport may thus become only a means to reach victory or a way to meet one´s own self. The key leading to such existential encounter is the educational approach of M. Buber as well as holistic education. |
