| Description | Extreme centralism was dominating in the new states in Central Europe after 1918, however, intetions to establish a real local government as well as to form the politically autonomous units stood as opposition. In Poland and in Czechoslovakia, autonomous governement was established in the small parts of their area - Silesia and Sub-Carpathian Rus. This was not restricted form of autonomy but genuine federalist system. |
