Description The light falls to the eye with a different intensity during the night and day. An ability of the eye to adapt these different levels of the illumination is called adaptation. The eye can recognize the illumination in a range from 0,003 luxs to 80 000 luxs. For a better imagination, the intensity of the illumination of the sunny day is bigger than 70 000 luxs and the intensity of the illumination of the bright moonlight night under a full moon is about 0,5 luxs.
