| Description | The goal of the conference was thinking about the town (or city) not only as a local authority, but also as particular phenomenon, in all its diversity. We study town through politics, economy, geography, demography, ethnography... We dealt with the transformation of towns and their importance in the history, their construction in modern ages, as well as groups of people, who lived in it (townsfolk, Jews, students, laborers). |
