Description | The term post-secular society is currently often associated with Jürgen Habermas in particular. Habermas presents a specific "vision" of post-secularity, which should lead to better communication, tolerance and mutual inspiration between religion and secular sectors of society, which, according to Habermas, should also apply to science. This contribution tries to establish a topic of post-secular study of religions in "Habermas’s sense", and it discusses its characteristics, possibilities, and limitations at the same time. The paper specifically focuses on Czech discussion about symmetrical approach to the study of religions (based on the actor-network theory), which could be considered to be a post-secular approach in some ways. |
