| Description | The chapter analyses magazines aimed at children and youth published by the Orbis publishing house and the Czech paperback editions of the Library of Youth, adopted from the Berlin-based publishing house Steiniger. These publications attempted to provide young people with exemplary heroes in stories from contemporary wartime events, and touted the successes of the German Army. A review ot these texts of popular fiction helps to demonstrate the artistic means used in propaganda dommunicating with children and youth. |
