Description ‘Ainab 1 is a small open air campsite near Jabal ‘Ainab 1A at the modern Jordanian-Saudi-Arabian border. The campsite consists of 11 structures out of which one (structure A) was excavated in 2014. More than 4000 pieces of chipped lithics have been found during the excavation, among them several chipping floors. According to the presence of numerous Helwan-Points, ‘Ainab 1A can be dated to the EPPNB - a period which is poorly attested and investigated in the southern Levant. This presentation provides the preliminary results on the typo-technological analysis and the refitting studies carried out.
