Description | This article is focused on interior towns with large German minority in 1930s in Czechoslovakia and deals with possibilities to examine the resettlement of these towns after World War II. The aim is to describe one aspect of this topic – the social factor. In the first part differences between looking into borderland and the interior are considered and in the second one three ways to examine change of society due to post-war migration are outlined – creation of social networks in towns with migration background, regional and collective identity and places of memory. |
