Description | The aim of this paper is to reflect briefly on the corrective feedback given in Spanish class seen from the perspective of a group of college students from the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Considering the role of errors within Applied Linguistics and the range of corrective feedback strategies (Balcárcel, 2006) that we can use as teachers, we will present the study carried out at our department, the goal of which was to discover the students’ beliefs and attitudes towards error correction. The results will allow us to know the real impact of our corrections, specifically to what extent they are useful and appropriate or, on the contrary, if we must reconsider our methodology regarding corrective feedback. |
