Description More than 150 cervical lymph nodes were described by Rouvier. Recent classification recognises six areas / levels containing cervical lymphnode groups. Locoregional lymph nodes can be affected with metastatic dissemination of cancer and we can define specific leves which are responsible for drainage of primary tumor site. Lymph node affection is described in TNM classification in each patient. Neck dissections are surgical procedures to solve locoregional lymph node metastatic dissemination. Selective neck dissections are prefered and help us to preserve defined, structures: with better functional outcomes and at the same same level of oncological radicality. Complex diagnostic and therapeutical procedure in head and neck cancer patients with node metastatic dissemination is discussed in this chapter.
