| Description | The present monograph entitled Research on learning and teaching of foreign languages deals with the area of foreign language didactics and offers a new contribution to the discussion about the most prominent trends within the field. The book presents both theoretical and empirical studies which have been realized by the students of the doctoral study programme of Foreign Language Didactics at the Faculty of Education, Masaryk University in Brno. Due to the interdisciplinary character of the fi eld, the topics covered within the monograph are diverse and reflect the most widely discussed issues within the area. Moreover, the book also adds to the contemporary efforts to achieve the emancipation of foreign language didactics as a full-fledged scientific discipline. |
