| Description | Members of various professions differ not only in their knowledge, skills, and activities they perform but also in how they perceive – or see – the situations that are part of their professional practice: they differ in their professional vision. This book is a result of the research project Exploring professional vision and its development through video-based analysis (from the perspective of teachers of English as a foreign language) (2013-2016). It aims to introduce the concept of professional vision into Czech educational science discourse and set up and empirically evaluate videoclubs as a means of developing teachers professional vision. Based on qualitative studies, the empirical part of the paper describes English teachers professional vision and its changes after videoclubs.
