| Description | The device (1) for preparation of samples intended for judgment of dispersion of fibrous polypropylene reinforcement in cement composites, according to the present invention, consists of a pair of flat jaws (2) arranged by their teeth (3) one opposite the other. The teeth (3) are regular and consist of individual teeth (4) of triangular form with a point in the tooth axis, the tooth having lower hypotenuse with the length (D). The jaws (2) are arranged such that the teeth (4) on the upper jaw (2) are offset relative to the teeth (4) on the lower jaw (2) by one-half of the teeth (4) pitch (L). Preparation process of samples is characterized in that a board is broken in the above-described device into elongated strips, whereby in the next step, the strips are angularly displaced by 90 degrees followed by breaking the strips in the same device to fractions of unified size. |
