Description | The declaration of war on terror might look like a simple and straightforward act. However, I will present several unintended but extremely influential and tough consequences of this action. The fact that terrorism is an activity of a non-state actor leads to the dissolution of differences between army and police, therefore even a civilian places become a battlefield. And because of the abundant use of unmanned aerial vehicles designed for surveillance and ultimately for instant punishment, the world as such embodies the infamous Jeremy Bentham's prison. The Panopticon. Or we should probably say the Dronopticon. |
