| Description | The contracted research was focused on nanomechanical mapping of cardiomyocytes, both individual cells and higher cellular clusters affected by different protein factors. The changes in mechanical properties were measured using atomic force microscopy (AFM). Furthermore, mechanical beating of cardiomyocytes was evaluated as change of the beating force and frequency in the presence of heart diseases related drugs. The aim is construction of a cellular biosensor for drug testing. |
