| Description | *The scope of this contract agreement entails two interconnected Aims whose ultimate goal was the development of a microRNA biomarker for P. acnes discitis. The first Aim utilized traditional culture-based and molecular methods to define rigorously true positive/negative cases of infection, while the second Aim builds upon this data in the development of the microRNA signature specific for P. acnes-infected disc tissue. We performed all planned experiments to fulfil both aims and fully completed services requested by contractor. |
