Description | The contribution deal with the cybersecurity issues related to the fragmented adoption of smart city features in European cities. It analyzed specific features of the interconnected and interdependent city ecosystem, potential indirect dependence between separate systems, changing security landscape during the stage-by-stage development and provider dependence or interoperability issues. It also identified need for integrated network architecture with flexible design, standards for smart city development and cybersecurity, municipal CSIRT, security by design and security related contract provisions. |
