| Description | This annotated atlas featuring 165 figures in colour is a result of almost two years of work of a paedagogical team from the Department of Pathological Physiology. The book elaborates the topics of both general and special pathophysiology on the level required for students who are about to enter the clinical clerkship in their studies at the Faculty of Medicine. The authors intended to capture the etiopathogenesis of conditions and diseases from the point of view of today’s genetical predisposition approach and also in terms of the epigenetic dynamics of the “read-write” genome concept. All figures have been created de novo, many of them arising from the cooperation with the students. |
