Description | The presentation processes information about Kyniska of Sparta, the first woman who won at Olympia (396 BC and 392 BC) and the first woman who trained horses. The Spartan king Agesilaus II was probably engaged in these victories. The presentation submits three basic explanations why Kyniska won at Olympia. The first is endeavor of decay of Alcibiades´s victory; the second is endeavor of decay of Olympic equestrian victories, and the third is endeavor of decay of individual Glory gained at Olympia. |
